Renat Khasanshyn

Renat is the Co-Founder and CEO of Protofire, a leading venture studio focused on incubating and spinning off Web3 projects. Protofire is trusted by 60+ networks and 95+ protocols, and we’re official partners of Safe. We’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the space -Polygon, Chainlink, The Graph, zkSync, Moonbeam, Blast, Mantle, Linea, Scroll, Berachain, and more. Our team has deployed Safe Wallets on 100+ EVM networks, helping secure over $2B in TVL across chains.

Renat began his career in 2001 as a software engineer at a regulated insurance intermediary in Tampa, Florida. As VP of Engineering at Primed, he was involved in building one of the first online distribution portals in the insurance industry, giving uninsured consumers in the US same-day access to a network of 30,000 doctors. In the past, Renat has been selected as a finalist for the Emerging Executive of the Year award by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council and once won an IBM Business Mashup Challenge. He is also a founder of Apatar (an open-source data integration toolset), founder of the Silicon Valley NewSQL User Group. He is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Altoros since 2002.
