Donna Mitchell [00:00:00]:
Welcome to pivoting to Web3 podcast where experts break down AI, blockchain and tech shaping our future. So this was the genesis of my story of the why that you see in Pivoting to Web three, Pivoting portal, pivoting technology, pivoting, pivoting, pivoting. That's the only way to go through life and make sure that you are still learning at the same time. I found it very, very important that we look at this from a comprehensive standpoint. It was the comprehensive standpoint that intrigued me, that this, this was more than just a buzzword. It was more than just something that was coming here today and gone tomorrow. It's going to be a major, major shift, just like intel was a major shift. Chips, computers, iPhones, smartphones, AI, everything is coming with a major shift and blockchain economy is on its way.

Donna Mitchell [00:00:53]:
So with that said, I'm going to give you some use cases, what's taking place in other industries, some sectors for why it's important that we all pay attention to what's happening.

Candace Jarrett [00:01:04]:
XCOVA is consumer infrastructure for I promise it's cooler than it sounds. It's consumer infrastructure that uses blockchain technology but abstracts it so that way the blockchain is underneath. So you can think of imagine If Venmo or PayPal used blockchain but looked just as they do now. So basically anybody who already uses any payment app in the Web2world, which is the world that we all currently live in, can use these apps that we've developed with Excava and get the benefits of blockchain without that steep learning curve. So it looks just like a regular app, but it uses blockchain.

Erich Archer [00:01:44]:
There's really two platforms that came out around the same time, ChatGPT that you've probably heard of. The other was Mid Journey, which a lot of people have probably heard of, and that's the image generator. And they came out around the same time and both kind of struck me similarly that they were going to profoundly change my world. Because with Chat GPT and Perplexity, I was able to just do a lot of that pre production rigor stuff faster, like research and ideation, treating ChatGPT like a, like a strategic thought partner, you know, like, okay, I have this project coming up, let's plan it out, make outlines, make scripts, shot lists, all those sorts of things were able, I was able to do those faster and that was evident pretty quickly.

Cheryl Cunningham [00:02:36]:
So we went about building Gabby and the very first feature that Gabby has is instant communication through telecoms and where it will be, where you will actually be translated on the live call with anybody. You call instantly, seamlessly, without any apps. So that became the very first iteration of you know what Gabby is now that that was the very first feature. It is live interpretation.

Danielle Hutchinson [00:03:12]:
So I always caution use when it comes to AI use. It's a great tool, but I hope that a lot of people can understand and agree with the fact that it's not a substitute for a writer. You can tell it, okay, write me a book about the latest crypto trends. But it's going to end up sounding robotic, repetitive. It's going to use words that nobody actually says. So really you need to, you know, it is, right? I mean, I don't know how many times somebody says delve in real life, but that's something that I loves to repeat. So, you know, what I've seen and noticed in terms of AI's current role in writing is it's excellent at things like generating first drafts, overcoming writer's block. But while it can give you that quantity, the humans are what gives you the quality.

Danielle Hutchinson [00:04:00]:
You might get 5,000 words from AI in an hour, but then you send me back a manuscript where I'm the editor and it takes me three hours to turn that into something that's actually engaging and encouraging and readable. So I would say to think about AI drafts as raw material, has the big sick information, but lacks narrative flow, that another book might have the emotional hooks that keep readers turning the pages. I've never seen AI create a compelling opening chapter or memorable conclusion without me kind of going in there and adding in that human intuition, which is what really motivates reading.

Oscar Vasquez [00:04:36]:
So Living Trust does all of those things for you. But more importantly, what I want to do is I'll tell you, and one of the things that we do is we have what's called a. We have one how we use it. And it's the most exciting part of, of a state of our estate planning. We don't use estate planning for. We don't use AI for writing the documents because every state has a legal provision that has to be on there. So we don't use artificial intelligence. We used an actual human estate attorneys in each state to be able to update the documents on a yearly basis.

Oscar Vasquez [00:05:18]:
We do use AI for a receptionist, a 24 hour receptionist to answer any questions. And I'll give you that number if you guys want to try it out. And if not, if I can. Donna, I love to be able to do a demo.

Donna Mitchell [00:05:32]:
This is how I went into this I thought of AI and how it enhanced who I was. I'm already pretty bright. I'm not the smartest knife in the drawer, but I'm pretty bright. At the end of the day, I started asking questions, I started looking at the information. It's going to make you better than who you are. If you got a quick mind now, you'll have a quicker mind. If you have great ideas now, they'll be better. With AI, Think of it that way.

Donna Mitchell [00:05:58]:
You don't want to be replaced by someone else who knows AI better than you. So this is the time to experiment, get comfortable, play with the different tools, see which ones you're comfortable with, what you can utilize in your world, in your job, in your home, in your families and in your life. Because it's going to be everywhere. So lack of understanding is really going to hold a lot of people back. So I would say be open, learn, adjust, take it in, experiment and be a good learner. So what's going to happen if you don't get on board? You definitely will be left behind. Because it's moving at a clip, it's moving fast. What used to take a year to take place might only take a few months right now, and we all need to keep up.

Donna Mitchell [00:06:53]:
So with that said, I hope you have a fabulous day and wherever you are, good morning, good afternoon, good evening, and thank you for being here and sharing this time with me.
